Copper "hairs" inside dizzy
I recently bought a 91 CRX HF w/ a d16a6. The other day the car stalled out while driving. I pulled the cap of the distrubitor and sure enough the screw that holds the rotor on came out. I also noticed a bunch of copper hairs inside the cap. The car is still running but the CEL is blinking code 9, which is the dizzy. Think its still ok to drive?

here's a link to distributor repair http://www.angelfire.com/ca/Dr....html
i've been hearing that finding a quick replacement rotor on the distributor king's can be a hard, and some models you HAVE to get the rotor from DK.
but maybe its worth it for the price.
btw mention HT and you get a 3 year warranty on the distributor from DK instead of 1 year.

Same thing happened to me with those copper strands.....lasted a while and eventually started to hesitate and threw a crank position sensor code. Swaped dizzy and it ran fine. Eventually i blew a piston ring and swapped to a B.
