not sure of any specific events but there are tons of motocross events at the q, and if you go down highland valley road from escondido/rb out to ramona thats a nice road and a few dirt roads off of it. if you find anything be sure and post it up cause id be down to check some out too.
I definitely will. im going to research it a little and see what i can find out. the bike is a blast ride, if i figure out how to post pictures i will put them on here.

There is a track out in Grange (Apple Valley). I believe Adams kart track used to allow Supermotos, but not any longer. Horse Thief Mile at Willow Springs also has a dirt section. Buttonwillow has a kart track that is sometimes used for sumo events.
Congrats on joining the 'tard club.
Keep theft coverage on that bad boy.

If you're looking to learn how to back it in properly, check out American Supercamp (www.americansupercamp.com). They supply XR100s for you to learn on so you don't trash your expensive supermoto (and end up in the hospital). I think there are some other supermoto schools at some of the kart tracks in Cali too that you might wanna check out.
Gary Trachy's Supermoto School

There was a West Coast Supermoto School that gave a discount to Aprilia riders but I'm not sure what happened to them.

thanks for the information.
i already have a fair amount of dirt bike experience, so i think that the supermotoxschool may be more what i want.
