Brightest bulbs for fogs
So I got a set of foglights from Wal-Mart for cheap. I got them a while back (I don't remember what brand). But they use MR-16 bulbs. I didn't like the color of the bulbs so I got a set of amber bulbs, but they aren't very bright. Does anyone know of a website where I can find MR-16 bulbs that are fairly bright?
MR16? -> Google
Never heard of that bulb...
and it looks like its normally not used for automotive use...
Don't go over 50W, i highly doubt the walmart wiring can handle that...
I say go on ebay.. and buy a set of oem styled ones for your car.. and just run those.
Then redo the wiring, with 16-12 AWG wire.

I probably should've went with the oem fogs in the very beginning. Thanks for your input

wtf bwaaahahahahaha MR-16 bulbs are used in residential and commercial building lighting applications, like in track lights, accent lights, spot lights, etc. and sometimes in overhead projectors for schools. I have NEVER heard of an automotive 12V fog light using those bulbs. But yeah, the light output from those would be pure crap for automotive use.
Get some decent ones that use H3 foglight bulbs.
