Will a 225/50-15 work for a dd eg coupe?

I'm looking into getting a drag/street radial for my 95 Civic EX. Right now I'm leaning towards getting the Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial:

Reguardless of what brand that I go with, what is the widest tire that I can go with on a 15x7.5 rim and keep it daily drivable WITHOUT modifying the fender... I have adjustable coil overs, I'm guessing I'll need to jack the front up??? Thanks in advance guys

If you don't get an answer here, you may want to try asking in the Drag Racing forum. They have a lot more expertise on tires for the dragstrip and not many of their folks browse this forum.
