broke down crx need help pls

Default broke down crx need help pls

can someone pls help me my car broke down and it dont wana start and i dont have the money 2 put it in the shop rite now but i cant find out wats wrong with it the day it broke down my car overheated then about 2 hours later i went to go start it and it started up find but then it just shut off all of a sudden and the it wouldnt start after that i did a basic tune up on it fuel filter plugs etc.... i also check the pump its running and i had a guy look at it and he said its my distributor but i dont wana get one and its not that ya know can anyone give me some pointers

you need a multimeter and a helms manual to diagnose it properly.

if you want you can pull the carpet back under the dash count the number of light flashes through the ecu and google it.
should tell you what your problem is.
but it isnt 100% sure, a shop is always your best bet but if your like me...

if your car overheated maybe your distributor rotor got warm and pooped out, if you count 8 flashes on the light thats your problem.
my rotor got a tad hot or something put a new distributor in and works. if you dont know how to put one in and not have to go through the timing pm me.

aight thanks ill check my ecu out i got a helms book 2 dont u have to mark a spot or something on the distrib to change it with out doing the timing?

If not, i would suggest changing the Ignitor in your dist, or just replace the distributor.

thats good theres no code but my car still wont start im gona try and buy a distrib. from HAP. ya it turns over but not on some guy that looked at it said i have a weak spark and it might be my distributor but i dont know if hes right cause he just works on cars on the side not his job. my radiator has a crack in it i think that why its overheating or my thermostat
