Define "practical".

Let's talk about the downsides first.

Do they wear faster than most other tires? Yes, definitely; people typically get 10-12K miles on a set, compared with 25-40K for a lot of other summer tires, and even a bit longer for all-seasons. That doesn't mean you can't use them for street driving; that just means you'll be replacing them 2-3 times as often as other tires.

Are they worse in rain than most other tires? Yes. But that doesn't mean they're terrible or that you can't drive on them in the rain; that just means that you may not want to go quite as fast in rain as you would with other tires. Note that the Azenis gets particularly treacherous in the rain when the tread gets worn down close to the wear bars, but that's basically true of most other tires too.

Would you want to use them in snow or frigid cold? No, but you wouldn't want to use other summer tires in those conditions, either.

Of course, the Azenis RT-615 has a big upside: They're sticky as hell on dry pavement. I'm sure you already knew that.

So therefore, the answer to your question - "are azenis 615 practical for street drving?" - is yes, IMHO. As long as you don't mind the short treadlife or the so-so rain performance, go for it. I think they're an excellent choice for your high-horsepower application. Don't forget that they're larger than your stock tire size on the EF, so your speedometer will read slightly lower.

In case you're interested, another good choice is the Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R, which comes in the 195/50-15 size that's better for your car. And the RE-01R is maybe the only street tire that's even stickier than the Azenis. It's also a lot more expensive.
