if you cant hear the fuel pump kick on then it has nothing to do with the ignition. eather your pump is bad or your main relay is bad

one blink is your oxygen sensor, but trust me that won't stop it from running cuz my car is throwing that code now and it's running like a champ. it sounds to me that your pump crapped out on you. if so, if it's a four door,or crx you can get to the pump from either under your back seat or storage compartment. but hatches you have to drop the tank.

I would suggest checking the alt./sp fuse underneath the dash. If this is blown, then your car will not start and have symptoms similar to what you are saying. Replace it and see if it starts up.

If that's not it, try and provide us with some more detailed descriptions of what the car is doing/not doing when you try and start it up.

For all ef 's you have to drop the tank.

if there is no fuel getting to the motor and all the fuses are good and you don't hear your pump them it's got to be a bad pump. and if you own a four dorr lift up your back seat and you will find an access panel to your pump! i'll put money on it, or i'll admit i was wrong online.

if it doesn't even crank...and you hear clicking noises coming from under the dash...then check your relays...there are a few of them i believe...usually they click if their bad...at least mine did....go to a junkyard you can probably get one for free....any ofthem work from other models as long as they have that four prong terminal...thats probably your best bet considering getting a relay from this year will be hell to find anywhere else....but if your getting crank and it won't fire...you have an igniter issue...check for battery voltage to the dizz. with a test light.....its a process of elimination really....IMO following electricity isn't that much fun though.....good luck
