recently bought a rsx-s, it has a vis cf hood and i'm trying to close it but it doesn't lock up. i notice the handle to pop it open is kind of loose. anybody know wtf is wrong.

 

Tighten the hood release cable.

 

Check for tools that might have been left under the hood.

 

if the release handle is loose then the hood is not properly latched all the way. its simple....the hoods latch bar may be to short and not engaging the reciever end of the latch attached to the radiator core support. loosen the factory latch and move it upwards, then tighten it down. close the hood and check for clearence. do this until the hood latches all the way. you may have to remove the latch assembly and legnthen the eyelets to which to latch bolts to the frame by using a drill and aplying presure to the top side of the mount.
