all b seres will not fit each other a b16 header is not tall enough for the deck height of a b18. But on the note of a ITR on a ls it will fit and will bolt right up to the cat as well because the ls and ITR are same length and all. And the ls will love that header

Actually even if (it might - I've never tried) it will bolt up, one thing nobody has yet mentioned is that the JDM 4-1 header has a 2.5'' collector which means the car will need to go to a muffler shop and have a 2.5'' flange added to the front of your convertor or test pipe - which ever you have.

You might want to look into just getting a full 2.5'' convertor like I did on my car when I got my DC JDM 4-1 with 2.5'' collector.

Yes, it will bolt up.

All B-Series heads have the same exhaust manifold bolt pattern.

it actually doesn't fit. it will fit all b-series vtec motor but not non-vtec. on the ls, the header is hitting the oil pan. so the jdm itr 4-1 header does not fit on the ls. i guess i'm gonna have to sell my jdm itr header now.

Well like I said I've never tried to test fit a JDM 4-1 ITR header on an LS engine.

For those of you who said it definately fit, why do you think his doesn't?

all b series header will bolt on..but the down pipe flange wont bolt on to cat converter.cause flange angles and collectors sizes are different. a muffler shop can take care that problem for u.

it will fit!! my brother had one on his ls teg. is it a knockoff or an original? sounds to me like you got a b16 4-1 not a jdm type r. the fact that it is hitting your oil pan pretty much is a dead giveaway that its a b16 header. all 1.8 bseries have the same deck height.

According to him the header is hitting the oil pan.

it's an original b18c1 4-1 itr header. i've tried it a couple of times and now it finally fits but it's hitting the oil pan a lil bit though. will that be a problem if it gets too hot, will it burn the oil pan. i'm also thinking about selling it. it's in pretty good condition with the top heat shield plus a brand new header collector donut.

if it is hitting your oilpan it isnt an original 1.8 header. its a 1.6 4-1 or a replica. i just looked at my brothers and there is plenty of space on the bottom of his oilpan. his is an original jdm 4-1 2.5 collector type r. i dont know what to tell? you post some pics so we can see.

I have a GSR header on my LS, fits fine w/ no clearance issues, ITR should fit fine. I think you in fact did get a knock off.

sorry, but they all fit...i fitted a b16 header on my cousin's ls motor fine! ls header on my b16 fine...gsr aftermarket header on my b16 fine...if you were to use a stock gsr header on another car, it will bolt up, but the flange is on a different rotation...and i think the jdm gsr header is either shorter or longer...don't remember, but yea...they will bolt up fine...deck height doesn't matter...they're the same height and all
