I have a S40 transmission that used to be in my 97 Civic EX. It was making noises in every gear so that's why I swapped it out. It has been sitting in my garage for the last two years and it is just taking up space.
You can pretty much buy it just for the casing + I'm sure it would be an easy fix for someone who knows what they are doing transmission wise
