Sorry to bring an old thread back to life but i just wanted to confirm that a DC5 valve cover whether it be USDM or a JDM ITR will fit our k20Z3's correct?

I am only asking because I was going to purchase a raw one to be powdercoated and it is a DC5 valve cover and the website I was gonna buy it from says that it will fit a '06+Si but two nuts need to be changed on the spark plug cover, is that true? And if so which nuts?

Yeah I know that. And I have always thought all K-series valve covers were interchangeable, but I am just going by what the site I am interested buying a VC from is saying. And our engines our k20z3's, not the k20a that the ITR and CTR

And here is what they say..."Note: Also fits Civic Si 02-UP with minor modification. Made in Japan (Honda)" and "NOTE: WILL FIT CIVIC SI 02-UP, BUT NEED TO CHANGE 2 NUTS ON THE PLUG WIRE COVER."

Ok, thanks for the reply.

I just wonder why they say it will need different nuts, i have never heard that before.

Whatever I'll probably just go ahead and order it.
