Ok guys... I bought a DC2 teg some time back that was in a minor accident and intended to rebuild. The car has sat for months in a back yard waiting for the work to start. Unfortunately the windshield got smashed right over the passenger side dash and the car has endured TONS of rain washing over the dash and onto the floor

The interior and seats seem fine, but I am worried that the water may have flowed into the a/c vent on the dash and either killed the blower or may cause problems in harness. I have not yet started the interior as I am fixing some damaged suspension... so no battery yet.

Any clue on whether the harness under the dash may have been affected by the possible exposure to the weather ?

Oh yeah... here... have a laugh on me:

 

Rodents (mice, squierels etc) my also be a problem for you. I had a car sitting in my paved driveway for 2 months and they found there way into the trunk! A friend of mine was driving around with mice in his airbox! One jumped out when we changed the filter (Ford Exploder)!

As for the water question, I think a lot of things could possibly be affected wiring is surly one of them.

Is that grass growing on the floor mat? First time I've seen a lawn in a car. Better get the lawn mower out and trim that dowm some.
