Default 89 Motor and Tranny Swap

I have an 89 sei withe the 2.0 carborated A-series motor, and the 5 speed tranny. I blew fifth gear and since i have 2 replace the tranny i might as well replace the crappy motor also. I wanted 2 kno what would be the easiest swap i could do, i dont really want 2 weld motor mounts or get custom axles. What can i do?????

if you have an sei then you should have the fuel injected model, not the carbed. but if it is really a carb, you can either put in the fi a20a3 (i think) with a good bid of mods, keep the carbed motor and build it, or you will have to do tons of work so swap something else in. you can easily put in a b20 from the jdm accords but they are very rare engines.

yea all the badging says sei but it also doesnt have power windows or doors which is also weird. Its def. carbed and im guessing the fi motor ur talkin about is the one that came in the fi accords of that year, i figired i could swap that in but i really wanted a dohc motor not a 12 valve piece of crap, also r there any trannys that will bolt up 2 my existing motor?
