Default called up modacar today!!

ok. so i recently sat in my friends car who had eibach sportlines for the 97-01 prelude...i do not know if they are discontinued or not but what i have been getting is that i cannot find them anywhere. i call up modacar because i did see it in their suspension package, but was not sure if they were still selling it. i called up their customer service rep and got a reply that the 92-96 eibach sportline should fit on it as well. can anyone vouch for this or has anyone done this ? i couldnt find this answer in the search function.

but if im not mistaking. if you use 92-96 shocks on a 97-01 you must use the springs from a 92-96 model. i may be wrong on that but im not sure but ive heard that

see thats the thing. i never heard of that either, and if im correct, they even have a seperate label for 97-01 ludes (excluding SH).im talking about pairing a 92-96 springs on a 97-01 shocks (tokico illumina).. is it possible then ? or must i get shocks that are 92-96 as well ?

no 4th gen on 4th gen, 5th gen on 5th gen. you can put 4th gen shocks+sprngs into 5th gen and vice versa but you cannot mismatch the parts

I think the 4th gen and 5th gen shock/springs are interchangeable, but the upper mounts are different. So if you use the respective upper mounts on the cars, they will work.

do i have to get these seperately ? i already got the shocks. it says that the tokico illumina is for 92-01 and the shocks for eibach are 92-96. i have a 97-01 prelude. damn i heard the answer many times but it just feels so wierd. ill show you guys what it looks like after im done. well anyways. ( i hope were all sure about this) i need one last confirmation !!!

i searched

yes, although i hear 5th sh dont fit base models/4th gens....

but if theyre for a base, they will fit...period

so after the research i did it says you can do it as long as its not being done to an sh.

so base/4th gen cant use parts from the sh so i think you should be fine. not sure though.
