Default help for restoring a rim

i have motegi ff7's that i took off my car because the tires were shot...but i want to make them look good and ill work on them till i get new tires but what should i do

Try using some wheel polish to clean up the oxidation, and if there's some scuffs you'll need to polish the lips. Personally, they're not worth restoring, though.

Well, the center caps should come off, and you can clean the lip up with autosol polish, or another wheel polish. You can have the wheels repainted and cleared for about $45 a wheel, or you can do it yourself. I wouldnt suggest polishing those, like you would a blade because of the small surfaces, and plastic centercap./

or you could wetsand the hell out of them and repaint them. look at the DIY threads with pictures.. pretty neat work they do

so i sanded one of them and this is how its turning out so far...and i also put some aluminum polish on there but i need a buffer!

Not bad, a buffer would make a HUGE difference. I cant imagine hand polishing wheels, once theyd been sanded!

yea each one so far has taken 2-3 hours...i need a buffer tho
