IS it possible to pull a G in a civic..
just wondering if people have pulled a G in a civic and what would need to be done..im not into auto-x and am not sure if theres even and accurate way of measuring it besides what those magazine ******* use...???
It wouldn`t be easy. I have no idea if anybody has done it. I remember reading about some Honda in SCC that was doing like .93. "eg2" would probably know.
Btw, I`m referring to daily driven vehicles, not trailer queens.

That article is on their site, they conducted the testing, and the author was affiliated w/ Progress at the time. He`s a friend of mine. But, if anybody could do it, Jeff & John at Progress would be the guys

Id have to say that the answer to you question is a resounding YES! With sticky tires, the right suspension and cornerweighting and the like, it would not be much of a problem. Ask this in the competition forum and I bet you see that many of the drivers there have acheived this and greater. (with streetable cars)
Yep. I read about a Civic Si in SuperStreet, or Honda-Tuning, I forget which, that pulled a 1.01g on the skidpad. I was quite impressed.
