if quality is what you want, then you know where to go. it'll be expensive, but then again you get what you pay for.

P.S. i'm talking about the going to the dealer.

I'm in the same boat. Ordered OEM carpet from Honda and received this email a few days later:

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">The Mat (83302-SR3-A10ZB) that you have ordered is on backorder with no ETA of when it will come off backorder. We need to know what you'd like to do with this order. This order is on HOLD until we hear from you on this matter.
</TD></TR></TABLE>

So i emailed back and asked about a different part # carpet, and this is the response i got:

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I have tried all the part numbers. Even the colors you didn't want and all have been discontinued by Honda. What would you like to do with your order?"</TD></TR></TABLE>

Been looking into aftermarket offerings, but all i find are comments about how bad they fit...

If anyone has experience with a decent fitting aftermarket piece. Please post up!

they don't seem to be that bad, atleast on pricing. $179.00 for a oem style carpet. they claim to have been around for awhile. i just wonder how the fitment is though.

Lots of dealers sites list parts that have been discontinued.

Not so much worried about price. Fitment is the thing that most of us here are looking for.

The fact that you only have to specify it is for a 92-95 Honda Civic makes me wonder about the one from JCWhitney...

http://www.automotivecarpet.com

Check these guys out! They make great carpets and will even sell you extra yardage from the same roll to ensure color match for any custom work you have planned! (ie behind the seats ect)
They will also make fatory style floor mats if you ask.

They are a bit of work to install as you have to cut all your own holes, but this ensures a proper fit every time!! they also come with fairly detailed instructions for installation

it is something to consider. wouldn't suprise me though, since honda likes to use the same part on different model cars.
