Stock CD Player?

Would any of you sell the stock CD player?
I have somebody that wants to buy mine, but I'm not sure if I want to get rid of it, because its stock typeR..
I do think the stock CD player is a piece of crap.

Stock CD player is not a piece of crap--it just doesn't put out a lot of power.
The FM tuner is fair, but the CD playback is actually pretty good IMO.
Now, late-model GM Delco units are pieces of crap. Even though they sound ok, if you give them a few years something will happen to them.

you should keep it.
think for a second, there is a reason someone is offering you a hundred bucks for it, when they could easily go get an aftermarket unit. They want your stock one for a reason. The same reason that you should keep it. It's hard to come by, and will increase the value of your car if you keep it with it.

Dam, I sold mine for 30 buxs, Owell, I was not going to use it. If you decide that you want to upgrade to a system and want aftermarket sound quality from the unit and ipod from it or a extra aux input. Use the jl audio cleensweep on the factory radio. I done a itr with the factory headunit and the sound quality was a knock out. Way better then using a cheap loc.

If you do decide to sell, a good OEM replacement is an 02-06 CRV EX 6-disc changer radio. It lights up amber and works great. You can use the Honda Musiclink to connect an IPOD to it.
Keep the stock head unit.

If so, look for a good deal on a used one.. the retail is $2000!

Yup, I have the same one 05-06 CRV. I bought mine for a little more than $100 on eBay.

I still have mines.. Brand New. Took it out the car the same day I bought it. Replaced it with a aftermarket due to new system. Radio has never been turned on or anything.
Does it directly plug-in to the wiring harness and how does it mount in the ITR?
I remember a few folks using a Dual-DIN Accord unit, but wiring needed to be spliced.

It's not plug and play. But you can get a 99-00 Civic reverse harness and a 94-01 Integra (or 92-95 Civic) radio harness, splice the two together to make a "jumper" harness that will be plug and play. I bought the two harness off of eBay for like $14.
