I've been trying to find the answer to this for about half an hour with the only result being me getting pissed off. Sometimes even the simplest question can be incredibly difficult to get a straight answer to. The golden eagle kit comes with their own gasket, I don't kow wtf it is. B18a block, stock gsr head, what gasket. I hope it is the gsr gasket, because then I can save money by only buying a whole gsr "head set", because I need all of the other gsr gaskets, IM, valve cover, TB, cam seals, etc, etc. (Instead of having to use an ls gasket and having an extra gsr gasket left over from the set.) Anyone know the answer to this question?

 

Its very simple, their kit comes with an b16 head gasket. AND their OEM Honda, just bored out to specs.

 

Bored out how though? For the dowel pins? I just want to know if I can use a stock gsr gasket or not.

 

Yes, you can use the stock gsr gasket. both b16 and gsr are the same.
Why are you not using the gasket that came with the kit?

 

I haven't bought the kit yet. I just didn't want to end up with anything I don't need. I guess I'll buy the kit without the gasket, and then a separate gsr head gasket set. Only reason being it's cheaper to do it that way, than buying the rest of the gaskets I need separately.
