so i have a 96 hatch.....with an obd II ls swap in it.....the motor is knocking and i found a replacement....however, it's a 95 obd I motor.....so in order for me to just drop this obd I motor in the car, i have to do what to make it work??

obd1 wire harness, or if u have the obdII ls still swap obdII equipment over so itll plug straight up.

 

swap what obd II equipment? someone told me all i would have to do is change oil pumps and the lower crank gear and use my obd II injectors....??

 

can someone please let me know

you just answered it for yourself unless you are already using an 0bd1 ecu with a jumper harness then you won't have to do any of that, and for the person who said use an obd1 harness don't post crap unless you know what you are talking about
