I saw a post on here a while ago where I guy used sandpaper and made this screen like brand new. he also painted the unit black. I can't seem to find the thread now so I need some help.

I want to make the screen on my avcr look new (has some scratches that look like ****).

What process should I do on this project?

I remember him using sandpaper, but I want to make sure I do the right process with the right grit paper. I don't want to end up making it 1000x worse .
