A friend of mine has a 86 rex, its not a si, and he just recently rebuilt the motor and after putting it back together it wont start, he says he is getting some fire coming out of the exhaust.

Any ideas?

and is it possible that the dizzy is just out of time? or something more than that?

I dont know anything about this car so any info to help him out would be greatly appreciated.
