Pistons
Hey i was just wondering something about pistions.
I have a h23a and was wondering if H22 pistons will fit and will it increase the compression ratio. What about type-S pistions??
thanks.

Bore sizes are both 87mm for the h22 and h23 pistons. Personally, i would just buy an aftermarket piston... I would recommend JE, but they only come in 20 over for our engine, and you cant install these into your block due to the cylinder walls having to be honed out. The problem with this on the prelude block is the stock walls cant be honed out, they are fiber reinforced so you'd have to resleeve the block. Look for a company that makes 87mm pistons for the h23, as far as putting the type s ones in, im not sure about clearance issues or anything else bc im not too familiar on this topic...
i have stock h22 pistons and rods now
great shape i just got aftermarket ones
