Question about Acrylic Urethane Reducers
Hi,
I picked up some Acrylic Urethane single stage with medium temp reducer.
I want to paint tomorrow but it will only be around 50 deg F in my garage. What kind of problems will I run into if I try this?
Please answer only if you know what you are talking about.

u may have problems with the paint running. It will also take a good long while to dry. I have painted in colder conditions than that though belive it or not. Good luck!

That, and not to insult you but it sounds as if you are inexperienced. Painting isn't easy to just jump into.

Trust me, bro, i've been painting on and off for quite a while now. Using a cheapy Hvlp gun coupled with cold temps= a big pain in the ***. It has nothing to do with my skills..

I am sorry i just sounded like you hadn't done this before and you can't understand the way paint works completely yet, this will come with time.

Obviously its not an ideal situation, but worth a try, try out a small panel or part first. Also pick up some low temp reducer, its good to have around if you paint alot. Plus you can use it to mix w/ med. temp if you want to spike the mix and make it flash a little faster.
