CTR wheel is tighter IMO, but yeah S2K wheel fits... So do RSX-S wheels...

AP1 is 2000 - 2003. After that, it's the AP2 (2004 - present).

To the guy who asked about the EG -- no it, won't work. However, the ITR came with the EXACT same wheels (both the SRS and non-SRS) as the Civic Type R, but they are splined for the Integra. These will fit your EG.

so for sure that the AP1 airbag plugs right up? I've heard that the cruise control needs to be rewired, but i personally dont care about that since i dont have it.

So can anyone confirm for sure that the airbag plugs right in?

I'm not sure if that's the best idea, for safety's sake. Might just want to get a new airbag.

On that note, does anyone know if the SRS light be on after swapping the steering wheel and airbag? Will the system need to be reset?

No, you can't rebag it. The explosive is deployed, the powder is gone, the airbag is split, the steering wheel cover is ruptured.

It's toast.

If you want to buy a brand new airbag to put in the steering wheel (replace the entire airbag/horn/center piece) .... it'll cost more than buying a used complete steering wheel.

Search, or make your own thread.

'Your search for SRS reset returned 66 results.'

i remember my friend telling me something like, the ap1's are a single stage air bag deployment, while the ap2's are some kind of dual or 2 stage deployment. This was a while back.

thanks, yeah i did search, but there's a bunch of unanswered threads there too.

My main question is if the SRS system will need to be reset after installing the s2k wheel even though its a plug n play deal.
