hey guys i have a y7 block and a y8 vtec head. im going to be doing a mini swap. my questions are simple. what will the compression be on this motor when im done? and is the y8 head beter to use then the z6? and im converting this to obd1. im obd0 right now in a 89 hatchback. im guessin the dizzy for the z6 is for that motor only. i heard for the y8 i can use the y7 or y8 dizzy for the 96-00 vtec. can anyone please hellp me befor i get this project rollin. thanks in advanced

 

I'm a newbie but from what i've read, the Z6 head is a bit better than the Y8 head.

no i havnt. and i was wondering about compression in the motor if its lower with the y8 or z6? i heard y7/.y8 is lower then y7/z6 and thier alot of write ups on FAQ section but cant seem to find what im looking for. so i figured id just ask some people to help me really fast. anyone else? need feedback thanks

 

Dont be so lazy and look it all up for yourself. You can easily find all the answers to all of your ?'s in the faq or google search...
