the manifold on my Sol finally cracked so it looks like Im in the market for a header. I dont really want anything expensive, but nothing cheap and cheesie either. Any suggestions from people who know more than I do

also, any other bacis mods that would help out with performance along with the header?

what mods does the del sol have? I hate to say it but if you are pretty much stock, I'd go to the yard and pick up another stock manifold and gasket match....I ran a true 4 to 1 in my 94 si for about a month with 2 1/4 collector and I actually LOST top end, although I gained 2-3 "big" horsepower from around 3500-vtec. So I went back to stock manifold. Otherwise go with DC 4-2-1.

 

since u dont live in calif. i guess there s a bunch u can look at...but, DC is a good safe bet...good reveiws but a bit pricey..www.modacar.com to get an idea what ur going pay

 

If you don't want to spend a lot of money get a Pacesetter of Chikara for like $150 or if you want to get something worth the installation time get a DC!

 

unfortunatly I just purchased the car three months ago, so I havnt had time to do much to it. I have just recently decided to upgrade some things only because of the manifold cracking. I can say I love this car! Im a Jeep/4wheeling guy at heart but after driveing this Sol around I think Im leaning more to onroad driveing.
