Default ground Control coilover problem

so i was rollin on some 16s with tires that are smaller then suggested spec, when i upgraded to 17s with the reccomended tire size, i beleive as in i think, not sure it was 250 45 17, but anyways whenever i go over even the smallest bump my tires rub on my fender wells? i raised my coilovers as high as they go, but ive had problems with these coilovers since day 1. i ordered tokiko blues, they're on the way, im hoping this will help, anyfeed back what so ever would be greatly appreciated cause my neo gens are getting trashes, anyone else had problems like this or with ground control?

alright i'll check tomarrow, thats probably wrong sorry. I went omy uncles shop and when my car was on the lift we were able to just move my tire up and down with no resistance, would that be a shock problem??

Doesn't sound like a coilover issue... sounds like a rim/tire selection issue.

Have you tried rolling your fenders?

With 17 inch wheels, you should be running a 205/40R17 tire if those 2002 civics are the same as my 2000

I had my fender edges rolled. Have a professional do it, it shouldn't cost very much to do.

If you have 205/45-17, that's also too big (you probably posted 250 instead of 205, there is no such thing as a 250mm section-width tire).

And Tokico HP shocks aren't going to help much. They're marginally better than OEM shocks and will not handle coilovers well at all.

uh oh i say that as i sit in my garage with 2 braqnd new tokico blues sitting in ffron of me, and ya my actual tire size is 215 40 zr17 87w, is it worth returning the shocks, or the $200 purchase plus probably $200 for install since i dont have a spring compressor?
And is it tire size, ive had so many problems with suspension and rubbing, i really appreciate all your help guys.

1. 250 width tires are REALLY wide tires. you havent even mentioned the offset of the wheels, which is also a primary factor in determining the placement of the tires and if they would rub or not.

2. blues suck. you should have read. you should have gotten illuminas.
