Default H22 Stroker

102mm stroke with a 90mm bore. All forged internals, and resleeve the block to accomadate the forged pistons. Would there be any problems here? I know most people don't recommend bore size over 89mm. And I've also been told if I turbo more displacement and such could help with turbo lag true?

if you plan on turboing this... you have *****.. i'll give you at least that. there are quite a few good threads on here about stroker kits. i'd give you a link but the search button isn't working for me right now.

the bigger the bore the more compression. it would make since to stick with a standard bore. whats the point of going so big if your boosting.

102mm stroke 90mm bore.....thats what the kit from crower says....but the only difference between that kit and what i said is the crower kit for the h22 comes with a steel crank not a forged one

damn you should be able to get more then enough power out of a stock bore/stroked setup. take a look at what md23vtec is doing. I'd leave the stroker kit for the n/a guys.

Chris, fwiw, the two have no direct impact on one another.

OP: Don't waste your money on that kit, you'll make more than enough power on a well put together 90.7mm x 8xmm setup.

actually they do. compression is just a ratio of the volume between bottom dead center and top dead center. anytime you change the volume by either boring or stroking the engine you change that ratio. (assuming the same piston specs of course)

I know that dude, I was just trying to say that is an over-simplification of it.

I think there are a lot of people on here that think an 11.5:1 piston will cause an 11.5:1 CR no matter what setup you have it in. Chris, I'm not directing that at you either mang.

so he can blister the tires at 220mph...your r/s is going to suck big time.
your bearings won't last long at all i can grant you that.that rod is going
to look like a lawn mower rod.

I wish they'd just give you the cc #'s rather then the compression.
