Default any ideas?????

i have a d16z6 turbo and lately it has been acting funny. its a d16z6 turbo tuned on chrome. it has been jerking a bit when i accelerate and has lost all power 3 or 4 times in the last week when driving on the freeway. it did not die just had no power. kinda hard to tell about....just looking for ideas. thanx for any help!!!!!

Is your batery light flickering on and off??? My car did the jerking think when my alternator was crapping out on me.

check for leaks in your piping

ive seen the couplers dry rot without people knoing

hmmmmm i have a integra dash in it so im not sure if that light works or not...... but my battery has a full charge. the car has been in the same condition for the last year and its just starting this so its not the dash

you check the rubber peices that hold your intercooler piping together..

unless you like welded the peices together...

there was a really funny story about how ive seen them dry rot

Check all of the rubber couplers that join your piping together. Make sure they are all tight and secure. They can rot out on you and you wouldnt even notice it until you felt it.

well both of you told me what i should know! sorry for the stupid ? lol i was thinking of spraying something on them to see if they leak like carb cleaner would this work?

i checked the alternator and battery and they are good.
