My ride home from work.
so i was at work usual day, most likely the last ride of the year, really just wanted to get my fuel stabilizer into the carbs. now this is the part that everyones gonna say im stupid about, and i know it. but my lowbeam was out. and i thaught ok, ill fix it, but not now, i never use it anyway. i just keep my high beam on all the time.
so i get out of work, get to my bike, and see frost on the seat. (this was around 7) and i think oh crap, better take it easy, black ice may be around.
now i depart, i take it real slow. i have to keep my visor open because it keeps frosting over. so i get about a mile or 2 up the road and whatdaknow, my highbeam goes out. i cant pull over because i know the road has a really uneven bumpy shoulder, so id end up dropping it on the ground, now i dont wanna do that so i just slow the hell down and thank god my tail light still works.
then i think to myself "hey, my turn signals are broken!" meaning they dont blink, they just stay on. so i switch side to side around some winding conneticuit roads at about 15-20 mph (couldnt tell gauge was frosted over)
i eventually make it home without any troubble. other than kicking myself for being so irresponsible and stupid.
just wanted to let everyone know my experience. let the flaming begin.

Don't you love old bikes?
I've had electrical issues on my bike a few times, it was fun riding home with no gauges, headlights, turnsignals or brake light. Good to hear you made it home

That happened to me once or twice on my old FZ600 - all of it went through one fuse, which was missing a mounting clip (the old glass tube fuses) and would sometimes short out and blow. It was definitely the suck.
