if you are talking about b-series, then pretty much everyone not on a budget goes with the hasport hydro conversion.

only recently hasport came out with a d-series hydro kit, but i havent heard of anyone using it yet, so most people stay cable for the d.

me personally, i run a d-series with cable trans and 4.9 FD and a .702 5th gear.

Still rocking the cable!!! Works good for me. Plus I love how you can adjust the friction point whenever you want, not sure if you can with the Hydro, never tried one.

Actually you can adjust a "hydro tranny"
lol "hydro" HEY IS MY EYES RED?!?!
nah jk But hydraulic clutch can be adjusted.
Drill a hole in your slave cylinder have it threaded
run a allen screw into it (wrap it in plumbers tape)DUH
and with a simple flick of the wrist hydraulic clutch is adjusted..
Hahaha a "n00b" not so "n00b"

I forgot to mention.. The point in this is control of hydraulic fluid.
which is what controls a hydraulic transmission inside a slave cylinder isnt but so big anyways.. so maybe just a couple full rounds it would be right.

You would want to run a YS1 cable tranny (92-93 Cable GSR) *

A Cable ys1 case will accept Hydro internals . 100% interchangable.

Example.

Get a 99 Si b16a2 hydro tranny.

Get a 92 YS1 GSR tranny and swap out internals or Rebuild it with all new aftermarket hydro parts. But still retain the Cable pedal along with the cable tranny mounting points.

Good luck.

P.s. I have a YS1 case. Clean and ready to run from my old crx.
