NEW WHEELS ARE HERE...TEASOR...PY ITR INSIDE
^ Are those Ray's?
I used Ray's on my stock wheels, and every few days, I just made sure to go back over them to make sure they hadn't loosened. I never had a problem, as long as I did that.
Once I went a few weeks without checking, and 2 on the rear passenger side had backed out quite a bit.
Car looks good.

i can't believe you would take a chance on getting hurt, or WORSE hurting some innocent people on the road bc you want to put blue lugnuts your car?
if you want to use blue lugnuts, buy set of aftermarket wheels to put them on

Pardon my ignorance, but what's the safety issue at hand? I know our stock lugs have a rounded edge so do these blingy blue ones have a different profile (flat?) that doesn't establish as much surface area causing them to occasionally loosen?
If that's the case, and folks are running them at Expo 8, or any HPDE then that's not cool.
Would something like that pass tech anyway?
-Matt (<would never jeopardize safety for cosmetics)

The safety issue is that they weren't designed for those wheels and the minimal surface area can wear and the lugs become loose.
No, those should never pass tech at an HPDE, however I won't say they haven't, and may have at Expo 7 when there was a rush and people were running all over.
I will say that they will NOT pass this year.
