quick ? about lug nuts
i just picked up a set of stock rim's for my R and was wondering if the mugen lugs i had on my rota's would work for them. If not what type of lug nut would i need? Thanks
k found a pic of a stock "acorn" nut by searching
and compared to my mugens and the mugen does have an acorn type apperence to its end so i guess they will work
, unless anyone disagrees

If your Mugen nuts are like these:

They are tapered, not acorn, and will not work with stock Honda wheels.

I gave you a quick answer...... search for "lug" or "lugs" or "lugnuts" next time.
You have to use stock lugnuts with stock wheels. Aftermarket wheels have an "acorn" seat where stock wheels have a "ball" seat.

No, they don't. Maybe you need to go find an acorn for reference.
Your "quick" question has been answered correctly several times. You don't seem to want to hear it though...

Agreed. Use tapered when they are called for and ball when they are called for. There is no logical reason to use the wrong type except in an emergency and you have no way to get the other type (flat tire, etc).

and those aren't them, spoon's nuts for OE wheels are grey. Just cause it's on there doesn't mean it will work properly in the long run. I'd get those changed out too.

It's not so much that they wont work...but that if you really want to find out what happens if you do use them.
