Now i've searched on this one and ppl have said to check the fuses, main relay, etc. Well i've done all that, changed the d. cap, rotor button, plugs, and plug wires, and still no deal.

Anybody have any other idea what to check as this is my daily driver. Fuel pump kicks on as well. I need some ideas guys, its getting irritating. Thanks!

Btw, car is a 96 hatch with a 96 GSR swap.

 

do you get spark at all??

is your timing good? i had a problem starting went thru bs only to find out my timing was off.....jumped a few teeth on the belt.

 

are all your plugs on your wiring harness plugged in?

 

i agree with sleeper i had same problem turned out i skipped 2 teeth on the cam check your timing

 

ok i'll check the timing. and yes all plugs are plugged in on the harness everywhere.

 

check the ignition coil and and all too. seems fine.

 

Was this a recent swap...and you haven't been able to get it started since then?

Or has it actually started and been run some...and is now just not wanting to start?

Got all your grounds hooked up? You never answered sleeperrex though - do you get a spark at all?

 

ran awesome for a few months then did this overnight. i'm checking for spark tonight when my roommate gets home to help. thanks

 

are you sure it isn't a short somewhere?

it cranks and makes a sound like its ALMOST about to start then just starts cranking again. wtf

ok scratch that, NO spark.

 

SWAP OUT DISTIBUTOR.THE IGNITOR MAY BE SHOT.STOCK IGNITORS DONT TAKE BEATINGS VERY WELL.FIRST THING I DO TO ANY HONDA I GET IS AN MSD CAP AND EXTERNAL COIL.

 

ok no spark change your ignition coil its like 90 bucks from autozone.

but im 95% sure thats it. if not take it back. but im 95% sure.
