still kinda new to turbo setups, dont bash too much

i just bought this turbo with the manifold, they said that the downpipe should be welded to the left..the air inlet? and im not sure why the turbo have a curve on the left side thats bolted on there. not sure what kind it is. t25/28? it's a little bit bigger then my fist. ha ha. well thanks for looking and tips appreciated thanks

 

if it still has the serial badge on it try looking up the turbo by the serial #

 

hmm i looked at it and there isn't a serial number. any other ideas? thanks
