noise from the timing belt side of my motor...
I can here a noise on the timing belt side of my motor. It sounds like a marble in a jar that is rolling. Has anybody ever heard of this before? My timing belt and waterpump was replaced when I first got my motor before it was installed in my car. Is there some kind of bearing that goes bad on the timing belt tensioner or something?
[edit: i have a 9.5lbs lightweight flywheel if that makes a difference.]

I think if your timing belt is kinda tight it will make a little noise...
Also noticeable if you have a cut valve cover.....
Also, you'll be running your timing belt a little tighter than spec with LUMPY cams... Mine makes a "warbling" kind of sound at idle. I kinda like it.
And at speed, it almost sounds like a soft s/c kinda noise..... Zzzzzzziiiiiiiiiip, shift, zzzzzzzzzziiiiiiiiip, shift...........
