Default top hats is it enough?

i would love to tuck my car. are the top hats good enough to give me enough travel or should i do the fork mod too?

i was trying to do the fork mod but i don't have a big enough screw driver. Is there an easier way to open the fork up? it seems like i am doing it wrong? what else can i use.

well, its actually better to just use top hats. because it wont impact the ride height.

whereas the fork mod will. so it requires using adjustable spring kits like ground controls. it actually benefits those kits because it takes away some of the gap between the top of the spring and the top hat at full droop. well, so do top hats i guess.

and top hats and the fork mod shouldnt be used together. over redundant. you wont have much max spring length available.

what springs are you using? shocks?

well im not sure why youre having issue with spreading the fork any more to fit the koni shock thru. just separate it and push it down until it reaches the wider neck. shrug.

if i wanted to go low, i would do the fork trick up front and use top hats in the rear since the front fork mod is free. and you cant do it in the rear.

Get the top hats for the front, too. The shock trick is a pain in the ***. The top hats were worth the $120.

Get the right size tires and wheels, you should tuck without buying more suspension parts if you have Koni/GC setup.
