Coverted Pr3 to manual Still have 7600 redline
I bought a crx with a b16/Pr3 conversion. I looked at the ECU and it was an auto by the resistor in the r68 spot so I converted it over to manual. I started the car but it is still keeping its 7600 redline. Shouldn't be at 8200?
I had a msd 6AL ignition laying around. So I hook it up and it still revs to 7600. Its like the Pr3 will not let it go! I did have a o2 sensor fault but I cleared that up! Now it runs with no faults. I even beat the hell out of it to make sure that their would be no faults.
I am at a loss. I really would like the higher RPM's and VTEC engagement.
Any Ideas??
