need help w/ h22 swap
i did an h22 swap...everything was alright until i started the engine....first it started...but as i left it over the weekend.....and went back to start up again 2day....it started...but then it just slowly dies.....check compression...check fuel..everything was coming..but there was no spark.....coil pack dizzy is good..but i got no spark at spark plugs....the ECU remains h23 because i have no vafc or anything to control the fuel....fuel has been cut off in the ECU..ECU was chipped..everything speed limiter....fuel...has been taken off......so....anyone know anything about that or how i go about fixing that and getting it to start up again.....i appreciate any helps and suggestions.....thanks
got the engine to fire up....droved it for about 1/2 block and hear a cling....next thing i know is that i can shift w/o stepping onto the clutch....car didn't died or anything....the problem is that i dont need to step onto the clutch to shift....tried 5th gear and it grinds...so 5th gear still good...just don't know what happen to the other gears.....try stepping on gas but nothing happens....can someone tell me if its my tranny?? or what is wrong w/ my tranny.....
if anyone has an h23 or h22 tranny for MT....let me know..price and shipping.....

What tranny are you using right now?
Did you check or change the clutch before you installed the swap?
I highly doubt it is the tranny. You don't lose multiple gears like that unless someone went out of their way to mess it up. More likely a clutch issue.

when the engine was apart...he said the clutch should be replace....tis very low..its gone.....nothing is really wrong w/ the tranny...we were able to drive in and out of the garage before it became a complete installation.....i'm using h23...tranny...
here's what happen to the old engine....went over a big puddle of water..engine went into hydro-lock.....one of my friend told me it couldn't damage teh tranny in any ways.....since tranny was still running after the installation.....i can shift but w/o using clutch to free it.....so everyone thinks its the clutch going out....????

i think is the clutch, my car has almost the same problem but i do need to step on my performance clutch to change in gears the only thing i have is that it gets out of second gear when constantely doing 2500rps and when i go from 2nd to 3rd you feel it grinds really bad, i test the clutch and is new in good condition so i think is my tranny. anything u guys think it would be????
does the f22 tranny fit into the h22???? is it just f22 or a-b-a1 or what??? does it produce less torque??? or same amount..??? f22 tranny is cheaper but...just need to know...

yes it does. f22 tranny is crap....dude seriously im not trying to be an *** but go my the helms manual for your car or do some simple searching. if you found the vtec solenoid you found the vtec pressure switch. it is one unit. NO it is not built in. it has a green clip normally. if you dont have one then oil would be ooosing out. it should have a white and black wire if im not mistaking.
Your Soleniod and Pressure switch for Vtec are right next to each other. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by FlyingDaggers »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

If you are staring straight at your Solenoid to the direct right is another switch, that is your pressure switch.

Nah Chris, the vtec solenoid is the single plug, 1 wire, it is a green wire with a yellow stripe.
The oil pressure switch is right next to it, and it has a 2 wire plug, one black wire and the other is blue IIRC.
