Default 01-05 Honda Civic 3/5Dr Black HALO Projector WONT FIT!!

hi, well to start off, im from england which I know to you lot wont help, but im in desperate need and help. I have a honda civic 5 door uk 2002 model, known as a EP3 OR EU3. Picture below in the link: -

http://odin.vl.ru/gallery/2002....html

I recently bought the following headlights for my car: -

http://www.geocities.com/lyric...a.jpg

They fit, but... my indicator bulb holder and side light bulb holder wont fit into the holes! My current bulb holder has 2 locator pins, the ones to be fitted into have 4, as shown in the link below: -

http://www.geocities.com/lyrical_jedah/test1.jpg

By the way sorry for all the links, as you can see this has 2 locator pins, and the following picture for where the bulb holder goes into the headlight has 4 locator spaces as follows: -

http://www.geocities.com/lyrical_jedah/test3.jpg

I am looking for a bulb holder or some sort of adaptor from 2 locator pins to 4 locator pins for my honda bulb holder to fit into the headlamp, can somebody please help me????

Many thanks

Any further info is at hand if necessary

Limahl

P.S Here is a photo of beneath the bulb holder: -

pics help a lot, do you know if you can modify your existing bulb and holder to fit these new headlights? modifying will be your best bet, it's going to be really hard to find exactly what you need...

maybe grinding a tab down, or make the whole bigger...

hey im a bt confused into what you mean, apologies, im not sure if i can modify my bulb holder, if i made the hole bigger, would the bulb stay in its place? or if i did do this, is there anything i could do to keep the bulb holder in place if anything? I appreciate your reply by the way!

Should have went with the 04-05 headlights. Either way, sell the projectors.

all 02-05's are interchangeable. headlights AND tail lights.

sorry about your problem but i can't be of much help, you're going to have to figure out a way to modify your existing stuff to fit on there... unfortunately when you buy non-oem (aftermarket) stuff, you have to modify them, sometimes.

when u say there are ALL interchangeable, this meaning, and sorry to sound like a typical british noob, but what does OEM mean and stand for, so just to wrap things up, anyone who is reading this and has read and viewed my pictures regarding the situation,as i want to keep these lights, how shall i modify or what shall i do to it?thankyou

means you can use headlights from 02,03,04,05 on your 02 civic 5dr. you can use all those years on your car.

oem = original equipment manufacturer, meaning it comes from the factory, honda...

it's hard to say from looking at those pics how to make them work, you said they dont go in the hole, make the hole bigger with the little tabs, like on your oem headlights, compare and imitate.

hope that helps.

DAMN!
that pic brings back some scary nightmares, and Fond Memories!
mine was white, and it was my 4th Honda Civic!

i only owned one 5 door- the rest were hatches and sedans (for better handling)

by the way- FTMFW means- "For the Mother F'ing Win!" (...i think?)
----

i bought an ebay "Guaranteed fitment- Easy Plug n Play" Altezza tailights-
i had problems with the light socket sizes and wiring for the tail lights-
i tried the dealership- "Have to order a new rear wiring harness, and install ($180)"
i tried the "Tuner Guys" shop- ($100+ parts and i'll get them working!)

i gave up, went and got wire splicers and did it myself- ($90 all together)
Best of luck to you chap!

and MAKE SURE you want to buy fits on your civic Before you buy from now on-
dont trust anyone without first-hand experience, and dont trust ANY SALESMEN!
