Its not a matter or what is more dependable. SC and Turbo can both easily blow your motor if not properly tuned.
How much are you looking to spend and what sort of WHP numbers are you looking to achieve?
Also, what is the current condition of your B16? On a Bseries you can run about 220-250whp (or so) safely on a proper tune.

right now it has 234hp it has a little work on the bottem end but top end is fully built but just took cams out to lower my compression it made it fast by taking the bigger cam out and putting the stuck back in

Unless it's running some sort of forced induction, your B16A is not making anywhere near 234 hp.
I'd start researching a mild turbo setup.

i have a b16a with lsd tranny full exhusted header catback clutch 8pack clutch light weight flywheel 360injectors aem fuel rail crawer stage 2 cams fully built head not sure about the pistons were there i no there bigger the guy that did my motor sayed they were msdwires type r intake manf, cold air intake intake spacer ecu has been chipped i thank that is everything
uhhhhhh. Turbos are just as reliable as super charges. IT IS ALL ABOUT TUNING AND SELF CONTROL. if you throw a small turbo on there get it tuned and dont up the boost. supercharges add low end power but you will get bored.
