car doesnt get to operating tempreture
when i purchased my car it had its air pump pipe removed(the one that goes to the intake arm), and i had a check engine light. i installed the pipe few days ago and reset the ecu hoping the check engine light will go away. well it came back up again. and what im noticing now is that my car is not warming up to its right operating tempreture (which is 4 bars). i drove 10 miles to school today and it didnt get any hotter than that. do you guys think its the thermostat? or does it have something to do with my air pump system?
thanks in advance

What was the temperature outside where you are?
At what rpm's were you staying around?
Were you moving constantly, or stopping constantly in those 10 miles?
It is possible the thermostat is stuck open and not allowing the coolant to stay still long enough to warm up.
Also, I doubt the arm on the intake tube is going to cause any difference on the running temperature.

^^x2 answer this guys question. and that arm your talking about is conected to a lil air compressor it only works for about 30 secs when you just start the car depending on how cold it is, the "arm" would have nothing to do with the temp.
thanks alot guys. i was staying under 3000RPM just to make sure i wasnt damaging the engine. my car usually gets to 4 bars in the summer. OH and BTW its VERY VERY cold here in NY today. in the 30's
