take pics of the area that has you stuck

do you mean the dead pedal footrest on the drivers side? I jsut ran outside because i honestly didnt think my DD had a dead pedal... and sure enough, DX hatchbacks dont have that, didnt know that crx's did.

feel free to pull as hard as you want if you dont plan on reinstalling the carpet and dont mind sharp pieces of broken plasitc trim flying around at high speeds

the dead pedal should be screwed down, but like i said take a picture in good light

edit: I'm a detailer and constaly have my head in footwell while i clean, and i know alot of dead pedals have plugs covering the screw holes that could easily be missed in low light. those plugs need to come out to expose the screw heads.

i just went outside and checked, it does have a cover on it. i just used a couple of precision screw drivers to pull the cover off. thanks a lot.

my crx is fully gutted except the dash...there are 2 screws holding the dead pedal down to the floor, you simply take them out, remove it, remove the carpet, and then depending if you want the pedal back or not, just screw it back...i did, foot needs a rest sometimes lol
