by swapping out the stock b-pipe (from cat to axle) for something lets say a 2.25 or 2.5 pipping without the resonator and still use the stock muffler would it make any improvement? i recently put my stock exhaust back on because of a ticket and now my car doesn't pull like it did when i had the ws on, but i like how quiet it is now.

 

not really.. because the flow is still restricted by your exhaust

 

Why not just get a quiet system, SP or WS system?

 

i got a modify exhaust ticket with a ws system, that why i had to put my stock one back on. plus i ride pretty low too and my ws hanging too low. the lowest point on my car was the exhaust and that was only 3" off the ground.

 

What about a flat black ES Oval w/ custom 2.25?

That cop must have been bored. A ticket for WS? Load of crap. Did he test the DB's?

In WA, for it to really stick, they have to test you on the spot.

well atleast it was a fix-it ticket. now i got to take my car to state ref. no db test. all he said was is that a stock exhaust. i said no so he said pop your hood. and wrote a ticket for modify exhaust.
