If I swapped a B16??

if i swapped a B16 in my 97 civc ex would my 5speed D16Y8 tranny work with the B16

no..d series tranny are b series are different.. they are not interchangable

I heard there was some adapter thing i could get to make the D tranny fit?? is there not such a thing
