If you're talking about a radiator-style oil cooler, no, it does not. You may be leaking transmission fluid or power steering fluid from the front area of the car. Is it an automatic? What kind of wreck were you involved in?

Yes, it's possible that you're leaking PS fluid, though that should be easy to determine by the distinctive smell that PS fluid possesses.

Seems like that would be a prime candidate for a power steering leak. Did you just assume it's oil because you don't know any better or are there symptoms suggesting that your oil pressure is low or what? Power steering fluid is generally clearish yellow to dark yellow in color and it smells nothing like engine oil. Can you take a picture for us?

Even so, if you were hit because of another driver's inability to abide the rules of the road, shouldn't you be letting insurance take care of the repairs?

sounds like you got the power steering cooler....does your steering feel rough? if it doesnt now it will start to and the pump will begin to whine if that is what it is.
