Drive shaft, removal and Installation
Wow Im Getting the driveshaft out and installing them back.
Finishing up my swap
1. Inserting passenger side drive shaft does not want to go in. I push and I twist the shaft, and I push some more. Am I missing something. Do you think that little ring on the end of the spindle is stopping it from going in?
2. Have to get the driverside driveshaft out, but its not giving in fully. Its halfway out and wont come out. I had to remove the whole drive shaft from the block when Removing this a few days ago.
Please help me, This is the last pain in butt thing I have to deal with for now.

I usually remove the knuckle from the lower control arm and tie rod end, then use it to tap the driveshaft in. It doesn't take much force, but you need to be able to tap the driveshaft into the tranny on the passenger's side and onto the intermediate shaft on the driver's side. The intermediate shaft should slide right into the trans with no resistance.
I've never met anyone that could insert the driveshafts into the trans by hand.
