Building my own box
I wanna build my own box i know the basics, does anyone know of a site that tells about how to get the right dimensions for good sound in depth there has to be a how to site somewhere i cant find one.
good size / proper size / best size questions are determined by your speaker. Your speaker manufacturer has the sizes for ported, sealed and bandpass boxes, because different woofers perform very differently in the same enclosures.
For instance, some are specifically made for small volume boxes and play loud and clear, but another woofer in the same box would not have enough air and would sound like crap.

I know it will add a little bit of extra weight but if you could build some for of inner bracing for the enclosure. the image below is what is inside the B&W Nautilus 801. i realise they are home speakers but the idea is the same.
