SPC vs. skunk2
I'm looking to get a camber kit for my '95 civic. I have a SPC camber kit in my '03 and haven't had any problems but I was just wondering how skunk2 compares.

The end result may be the same but you arrive there differently...
Here are some details on the S2 Camber Kit, so you dont just base the purchase on price alone.
Our best Camber Kit is the Pro +. It includes the Arms, Upgraded Ball Joint/ Upper Plate, and Shock Tower Anchors w/ Polyurethane Busings.

Now if they would just make that for an EF
Just don't cheap out and get the $40 ebay ones... or the adjustable ball joint, lots of top of the tower clearance issues with them.

when i was looking at the Skunk2 camber kits, i noticed that there were 2 different kinds. one of them is pictured above, and the other is a ball joint camber kit.
if i get one, do i need the other? and whats the difference between them?

do not get the ball joint kit. they both perform the same operation which is allowing in and out movement of the top of the spindle affecting camber. the sk2 style lets the ball joint slide, the ball joint replacement is an eccentric ball joint which allows you to rotate it to dial in camber, unfortunately as i said about they have issues with hitting pinch welds in the shock tower area.
Skunk2 Offer three (3) camber kits for the EG/DC and EK
Best = Pro Series +
Better = Pro Series
Good = Tuner/ Classic Series
For the EG/ DC we include the shock tower anchors and polyurethane bushings on the Pro Series +. The Pro Series and Classic kits dont include shock tower anchors or bushings at all... the difference in the Pro Series and Classic kits are shown below
Pro Series you get the better arm, joint, and slider. The adjustment bolts are accessible from the bottom side making adjustment much easier.

Classic Series are the OG camber kits. This unit has been knocked off more then your reality tv shows! But we still try to make it better then the "other" brands... by using a rectangle washer under the adjustment bolts allowing the load to be spread over a larger area.

The EK kits are the same on the ball joint side but differ on the chassis side.
Here you see the Pro Series + which includes the better arm, joint, slider, and polyurethane busings.

The Pro Series is the same kit but uses OEM bushings...

The classic is the same as above but uses the same ball joint/ slider combo as the EG/DC kit

Several of the track guys go through a set of the original Skunk2's at least once to twice a season because the thin metal on the ends bent to hell all the time. Several others I know don't run a camber kit at all because no one has been able to make one that is repeatably reliable on track.
Between the SPC and the skunk2 pro's, which ones hold up better to track conditions?
